I just loved how compared to today there was a lot of light hearted shows back in the 70's , more comedy based .. ya know i could get home from a hard days schooling ( lol ) and chill out to "Dukes of Hazzard " or 'Happy Days" and a bunch more , these days it's really crap "reality" tv or current affairs news type shows .. and it's really frikkin depressing .

Hi Ritchie

I enjoyed the Dukes too! I always looked up to the wisdom of Uncle Jessey :)

Happy Days! Even now I go in my Fonz voice..."ayyyeeee"

Agreed 100%!!!! Tuesdays were awesome... Happy Days followed by Laverne & Shirley followed by Threes Company!!! Then I had to go to bed. I was allowed to stay up an extra half hour on Tuesdays so that I could watch Threes Company!!!! I miss those much simpler days for sure.

ZD, Your childhood is the same as mine but divided by an Ocean.. Lavern and Shirley was great I loved that show opening with them working at the Brewery, a few years back I even bought and old retro Beer cooler with that brewery's logo on it 8)
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.

Ok, how about The Banana Splits?
I loved that show. Now I can't get the tune out of my head.
Better people....
Better food...
And better beer.

Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.

One banana, two banana, three banana, four.
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Comin' on to bring you The Banana Splits Show.

Makin up a mess of fun
Makin up a mess of fun
Lot's of fun for everyone.

Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.

Four banana, three banana, two banana, one.
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun.
Flippin like a pancake, poppin like a cork
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork.

Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
