Fretboard Logic
Anybody ever tried out the Fretboard Logic books by Bill Edwards?

I have looked at them but never bought one. If I remember correctly those books were very informative but almost too much to take in for my feeble mind.
To be a teacher you must never stop learning yourself...

I have the books, and I like the way they start, connecting the chord shapes to the major pentatonic shapes.
The thing that I don't like is how to apply the information to songs I already know. The fact that it's MAJOR and not MINOR pentatonic makes it less useful right off the bat.
I think it'd be a good system for a beginner, but having played for 26 years I have too many bad habits to learn a completely new system...
