Jimi did what he had to in order to make it in the business... that clip is from 1965, two years later he released Are You Experienced?. As I've said before, prior to Jimi, the guitar was a rhythm instrument and often inaudible. He freely admits that he "makes mistakes" while playing, but he revolutionized the way the guitar was viewed and launched a generation of guitar players. And to think that a mere eight years after his death, Eddie revolutionized things again
