This makes me sad. I liked Ol' Swayze and will miss him. Great actor and human being. R.I.P. DIRTY DANCIN'.

Who could ever forget the Chippendales sketch with Chris Farley on SNL? That was simply hilarious...

Very sad.... good actor for sure! Pointbreak, Ghost & Roadhouse are my favorites!
Someone remembers "North & South" from the eighties? First time I saw him then.

Sad news indeed he was on UK radio last year talking about coping with the problems his cancer brought, though I never liked his work I do remeber enjoying Dirty Dancing when it was released and I think I just grew away from his films which doesn't mean they were of no value.
Big P will know what I mean when I say 'Trailer Park Boys'! because they used the name Patrick Swayze often as an on going joke, it wasn't insulting and was clearly masking respect for Patrick.

First movies I remember with him in them were Red Dawn and Steel Dawn. What really threw a wrench in the worx for me about him having cancer was he kept himself in such great shape and was a health nut most of his life.. RIP Patrick
Oh bring me some CHUNKY PUDDING, and bring it RIGHT NOW!!!

Poor Patrick...he fought incredibly hard against that cancer! :( I was sad to hear that he had passed away. Every time he was quoted in the media, he would mention that he was doing ok and was staying positive. RIP Patrick.

Alex I love the movie Ghost, especially at the end when Patrick says, the love we have we take with us. Always chokes me up. The other thing I always found interesting and funny about Patrick is he took a role with Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo in the film "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar". A friend had rented it one night and brought it over. Very unexpected film and roles, but also hysterical. I ended up loving it. Patrick and the other two had to be very secure in their manliness to have made that film, but I'm glad they did. Always makes me laugh. :fish:
