Okay so, heres a little short story.

Ever since being introduced to Star Trek at such an early age I have always wanted know beyond the stories, how they made the effects and all that.

One particular thing that always caught my attention was the ships flying through beautiful regions of space, even though now when i look at now i was like "They used the same shot so many times in so many episodes just change the background LOL"

Anyways so tonight, for only 17 seconds (as i was testing my ability) I managed to create a short clip of my model i made of the Enterprise A flying through space, using homemade chroma key!

So yeah, I'm overjoyed, some may think this is sad, but its just made me thrilled.

JTAP he actually works as a DP, cinematographer, recently graduated from film school. On this film he work assisting DP on production. He is on another production at this time, which is very demanding, so when time is appropriate, I will ask some questions re: special effects. He did a lot of the camera work on Poseidon for the special effects as well. Work hard and love what you are doing and you'll get there! Cheers :fish:

Simon, I am glad to hear of your aspirations. Even though the industry here has seen a down turn, things are looking up. Any industry has it's complications, but film is always so inspiring. Stay creative and true to yourself and you will never lose. :fish:

Film is such a versatile art form, it can be used to educate at times when people don't even realise they are learning. What I love about good film is that myself and Jessica will talk for hours about plot and the way we feel each individual behaved within the story and its events.
What can be acheieved with art and very little money is also interesting, I think this art form above others ,when done right, has so much power to inform people and guide them.
