ACCEPT

Post by The Flying Dutchman »

Somebody into old Accept?

Here some clips I found:
Midnight mover

Metal Heart

Fast as a shark

And what about this:
Balls to the Wall *

Fantastic stuff! 8)

*They cut the solo there...... if somebody has a clip with the complete solo it would be great!

Hey Ian,
Yes they did, here a very funny story from their singer:
Udo Dirkschneider: Ozzy Osbourne was the funniest tour I have been on. They are so many funny stories. Oh I remember one show during Tommy Aldridge’s drum solo, Ozzy went out of the hall straight to the next bar, everybody was looking for him so it was one of the longest drum solo’s I’ve ever heard [laughs

I remember seeing ACCEPT in '83 and them being very good live. Wolf Hoffman was a very good guitarist...much better than I had expected. The vocalist was quite impressive in a live situation as well.....hard to believe it's been 23 years........whew!!!

He was for sure and he did get some amazing big guitarsounds on tape as well. 8)
Oh and like Randy he used an MXR dist+......

Btw. when listening to Metallica's "Fight fire with fire" I always have the feeling that it was very much infuenced by "Fast as a shark". Especially that classical solo but also those vey heavy guitar riffs in there.

Accept smokes! I actually saw them open for Ozzy on the BATM tour in May of 84 and they were great. My favorite song of theirs would probably be Wrong is right. How can you not love a band that has a true guitar solo during one of their songs (Metal Heart). Great topic!
