Well, I was told today, that Friday, January 9 2009 will be my last day. I handled it well, I thought.
I didn't cry, just was very sad to know that I will not be there until the very end. I've already talked to a man that used to be
our sales manager a few years back. They company he works for is looking for a location for distribution in my area, and it
should be done within the first quarter of 2009. Right now, I am on a "no contact" list, meaning that they can not contact me
until my employment has been terminated. I was also told, that when they start hiring, I will be the first one! My reputation
is good; I'm known & loved (which somethimes means jack-shit), so I guess it is a waiting game.

Maybe 2009 will be a good year!
Better people....
Better food...
And better beer.

Gina,

I think this sounds great.
A seemingly negative job situation 8 years ago for mw. lead to a far better paid and more fulfilling one for me :)

Wishing you the best Gina. You ARE going to be fine I feel.

Things always seem to work out in the end, no matter what! Matt is right, one thing leads to another, the greatest plans of mice and men are often lead astray.

You may end up somewhere you would never have expected but may be glad of the surprise.

Well, the economy sucks again.

Today, when I got home from picking up my girls from school, Mike was home. Apparently, they company he
works for were laying off 3 people, and he was one of them.
People are not getting their cars fixed like they used to. It's either fix the dent in the car or eat? You can
guess which they will chose.
Thankfully, he is optimistic about the situation.
I am printing out his resume tonight, and he is going out to look for work tomorrow.
As we have said before, one door closes, another one opens.
Better people....
Better food...
And better beer.

Bummer, Gina. :(

Well, I for sure need to get a ding on my car fixed soon. I was a victim of a hit and run in a parking lot last Monday...if Mike was out here, I'd no doubt give him a call. Best of luck to him on his job hunt!
