T Rex

Post by Paul Wolfe »

I was recently reading a book by Rikky Rooksby called Riffs and he talks about Marc Bolan's riff writing talent, so I started checking them out. Now I'm a big T Rex fan.

Here are a couple vids: Jeepster and an interview from '75.

Andy Wood and Mother Love Bone were very Bolan influenced, I should have listened to T Rex sooner.

Marc Bolan's guitar the Gibson flying V with tremolo is to be auctioned this month at Christie's in London.I read a story on line a while back about the clothes that Marc Bolan was wearing when he died in the car crash. Someone auctioned those clothes and they were covered in blood etc How sick, i'm surprised that they would allow such an item to be auctioned..
