These are a few items on display at D'Argenzio winery for Randy's 61st birthday celebrations. Thanks to Tami Forward for these photos.

Randy kept the Fender Harvard at the house. That's the one he used during my lessons. It's also the one he took to audition for Ozzy.

Frank, hope you don't mind me asking, how long did you take lessons from RR?frank wrote:Randy kept the Fender Harvard at the house. That's the one he used during my lessons. It's also the one he took to audition for Ozzy.
I met him at a record store on 8th street in NYC and chatted with him for 30 minutes about guitar & my classical lessons, very inspiring to say the least. It must've been an extraordinary experience to take weekly lessons with him.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences with RR.

I met Randy at a party in Burbank. 1978. I took lessons from March '78 until November '79 when he left for England to work with Ozzy. Yes, it was an incredible experience as we became friends as well.
