From a recent Rolling Stone interview regarding "Crazy Train":
"I didn't write those lyrics; the old bass player did."
I was surprised to see him acknowledge that without being asked.

Definitely an interesting read. Better than nothing, but I wish he had mentioned Bob by name.
I'd love to ask Ozzy someday if he'd be willing to make up with Bob and reunite even for one night.

Ozzy has said it A few times over the years that Bob wrote the material. It’s always a one off comment or something that doesn’t make the news.
I think Ozzy knows and realizes the importance of Bob. Bob still to this day speaks highly of ozzy from direct responses to me, others on his site and in some interviews. He really seems to overall still like Ozzy and blames everything on Sharon which is 100% most likely true. Ozzy doesn’t seeem to be a really arguementative guy at all through out his career from what I have seen. He seems to just go with the flow of whatever is happening and doesn’t care about the end result.
Sharon: “this guy is screwing us, he’s fired!”
Ozzy: “come on, he’s a good guy”.
Sharon: “No he is fired”
Ozzy: “ok, fuck it”

Ozzy may of said that in light of the recent proceedings with Bob being in court with the O's. I know Ozzy had a similar question over the lyrics of 'Suicide Solution' he says that they are about ACDC's Bon Scott and Bob says he wrote the track about Ozzy's drinking antics. But when the situation ended up going to court over the kid who shot himself. The finger was pointed to Bob and he remembered who wrote the lyrics... The subliminal messages of "Get the gun Shoot shoot shoot..". Ozzy has a suggestive memory and his tune changes from one interview to the next.

True, I always take his interviews with a grain of salt. It looks like he has a split personality. (alcohol or not) This one he came over genuine though.GUITARIDOL5682 wrote:But when the situation ended up going to court over the kid who shot himself.
