This week it's all about Judas Priest. I'm taking my 13-year-old to his first concert Saturday (not sure about Steel Panther, a bit inappropriate for his age).

The new Priest record isn't as good as Angel of Retribution, but it's a solid effort and should be a good show.

Paul I wasn't much older then your son, when i had my baptism of Priest....back in 1981 i'm sure it'll be a memorable gig for him.... As for Steal Panther... I think i'd rather have a beer and a look at the merchandise...

They are fun for what they are and the guitar player has some talent, but I know what you mean. I get the joke they are putting out there, but I could do without the intense profanity.

All in all it should be a great night (as long as my son doesn't sing any Steel Panther songs in front of his mom when we get home).

Taking both of my boys to see Motley Crue and Alice Cooper next month so I'm saturating both of them with Alice songs.

This'll be Jesse's first concert, so I explained that Alice was Randy's first concert and if he dedicates his life to the guitar following the show I'll totally understand.
