The Ritz 1982 from Ozzy's Memoirs Of A Madman DVD
Wow!, I'd have to say the best non Randy footage in existence.. I sure hope this whole show exists!
Shot from the balcony, the band sounds great, really raw sounding compared to the Speak of The Devil cd of these shows, and the SOTD dvd..
It's almost all of Fairies Wear Boots, Ozzy is off his rocker, acting all crazy with his shaved head (which they actually cut some of the footage for Ozzy to talk about his shaved head which they shouldn't have)
Brad, and Tommy are wailing away! I really, really, hope there is more of this show on film!

Haha, its a new Ozzy compilation dvd called Memoirs of A Madman, it's not online (yet). Upon further review it is only about half the song, watched it a bunch of times so it seemed longer than it is. Credits of filming went to George DeSota the filmer of the Palladium footage with Randy, so its highly probable that there is more from the Ritz!GUITARIDOL5682 wrote:Where.....what ....when ...in all your excitement did you forget to put a link up of this footage ?.

From one of those shows, there was 2 or 3 I believe, not sure which made the album cut. Ozzy has a chair onstage with the lyrics, wish they released more, hopefully they will someday. Awesome footage thoughfortress wrote:huh??? its the footage from the speak of the devil CD??? serious?? I want to see that for sure

This was the version of fairies wear boots from the live album, but very raw and earthy !
I do hope they release more SOTD is one if my favourite live albums.

Christ almighty. I remember reading somewhere about the chair with the lyrics on but fuck me, that looks seriously shit when you think in hindsight. Shame. Still, Speak is a great album, even if they did tweak Ozzy's vocals just a littleMadman56 wrote:For those that may not have seen this footage yet..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ihCLjqvDRQ

Has anyone heard any rumours about anymore 'Speak of the Devil' footage?

I was at the Ritz show in 82, Brad Gillis played his ass off! Went to the show with a few friends not expecting much, but it turned out to be a killer show, and turned me on to Gillis big time!
