correct rhoads technique

i am learning PROPERLY the following
Diary of a madman
over the mountain
flying high

oh and live solo!

what i wondered was in the OTM solo is the first arppegio and after done with:
1- a sweep
2- aalternate picking !
3- as much slurring as possible?

and on the Diary intro is it best with all downstrokes (i don't fingerpick)

and finally the first part of the flying solo, is it
1-pull offs
2- alternate

any help would be great.
