So, I've had this pedal for a few years. It's the Dunlop reissued version.
Ever since I've owned it, I've had a problem with it. When I turn it on, I get this really loud noise from it. If I unplug it and plug it back in (Like, wait a second or two and plug it back in) then it works perfectly. I've never been able to understand why this is happening. Obviously I can't return it at this point, but is there anything I could possibly do for it?
I really enjoy the sound I get from it, but I haven't been able to use the pedal for well over a year just because the noise it makes every other time I turn my pedalboard on is ridiculous. It's a really nice pedal (And I miss having a chorus sound for my guitar) so I really want to incorporate it back into my pedalboard, but it's such a pain to plug in my board, unplug it, and plug it back in just to have it work right.

Could you throw a vid up on YouTube with the noise and when it happens?

Re: My MXR Stereo Chorus Pedal
Unfortunately, it'll be a while before I can make a demo of it. My pedalboard is at my practice spot and I don't have access to it.
I'll try and see what I can do this week.
Though, in the meantime, the best way to describe the noise is it's like a distortion pedal at max settings, but without the screaming feedback. It's just... noise. It's a loud noise, and as I said, it only happens (for the most part at least) every other time I plug the pedal in which I find strange.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere inside... have you opened it up?

I've looked in it, but I'm not an electronics expert and couldn't see anything that looked out of place.

Cool, just a thought.
