Unfortunately not, the cheapest way of sending single parcels weighing just over 1 kilo from the UK is Royal Mail. I agree shipping is expensive and a pain in the arse, but on the plus-side you must be getting one of the limited number of signed copies available if you know the cost, because the book isn't available yet. Bob doesn't intend doing many book signings so I should imagine your copy will increase in value, maybe that'll help to ease the blow.

I hope the book gets a regular release so I can pick it up at a bookstore. Postage to Australia is a killer.

It's the price of doing business...what's between the book's covers is the heart of the matter here.
Cost of shipping doesn't even factor into my decision and I've been laid off since April of '11.

I know, I bought the book and "it is what it is" as far as the shipping but I thought I'd let people know. I bet it's a great book. I initially hit the shipping for the UK and had to send some more $$$.

Honestly though, Bob's a good guy, has always been straight up with the fans, and I'm not gonna lie - this is my most anticipated read of the summer!
