Ozzy Pulling Guitar Players Hair

Im sure many of us are aware of Ozzy pulling Jakes hair onstage, but this is the first time that Ive seen him pulling Randy's. I doubt that they appreciated this, but I guess with all the drugs Ozzy wouldn't have cared likely.

The first time I saw it was under Jake. I had heard rumors but it was true, Ozzy was a hair puller.

Bernie Torme and Brad Gillis went through the hair pulling stage act. It was just a wild thing to do on stage.

I think that's why he started pulling guitarists hair after he left Sabbath. I think it had something to do with Tony, psychologically...

Ozzy probably seen someone doing it before he did the stunt. His buckets of water over the crowd, was a wild thing to do. But the Stones did it back in the 60's -70's which gets the crowd going nuts. Unless your £1000 camera gets a good drenching. Does Gus G get ragged about on stage. I know Zakk didn't get his head dragged about by the hair. I wonder Why!!

Sometimes I've seen Randy appear to move away if Ozzy got close to him. Like maybe he was thinking whats he going to do this time. Other times he didn't. It blew my mind the first time I saw him pulling Randy's hair. I think palladium footage shows it. I'm just guessing here but it may have only been part of blizzard tour with Randy not the Diary tour.

Zakk did get his hair pulled like that in the early days, there are some vids on youtube of it happening. I seen one of them recently within the last couple months so it may have been the Moscow Music Peace festival in 89 that it happened.

Yeah that would of been the younger Zakk i bet he's never done it in his later years. He'd see that as being intimidating to Zakk's hard kick ass imagine ..I seen them back in 1988 and i assumed it was something Ozzy had dropped from the stage antics.
He used to make Tony Dennis (his PA) the joke on stage by ripping his shirt from his back and swilling him with the contents of the beverage tray he'd bring on stage.

I seriously doubt he was pulling their hair overly hard. The way I've always seen it is that it's just a "in the moment" kind thing and fun, it also probably helps to drive the crowd.

I have a VERY hard time believing that he pulled his guitarist's hair to cause them pain.
