Gibson Flying V. Or perhaps an Explorer.
Is it a Gibson?

Gibson Marauder or perhaps the Moderne? Although I was not aware they made the Moderne in Cherry. No it is not a Moderne.

No and to be honest, I forgot about this thread
Anyway, you're right...it is a Gibson Flying V and although
Randy played a V, the influence for this purchase can only
be blamed on Michael Schenker

Nice, Stiltzkin... Schenker is a master, but in that video he looks like it hurt to play!

For the same reason Randy let his V build...
The winner of the rat race is still a rat.

Randy's original V was because George Lynch had one made by Sandoval and he played and liked it so much that he went to Sandoval to get one built but had it customized differently.

He liked the feel of Georges V indeed, but you can't deny Schenkers role
in the shape selection
come to think of it, I wonder why, to this day,
there are no pictures of Georges V?
