Hi Frank it would be easier for you to send it to Skezza as an email. As you'd have to go to photobucket and store your photos. If you scan the item and save the image you can then send it as an email i'll pm you skezza'a email address OK

My first thoughts were, it just shows how caring Randy was to his students. Applogizing for missing you etc, he was really sorry and it meant something to him. Wonderful

Thank you very much! :)

Yeah, I actually found that a really hard line to understand. It's really weird for me to think of that time when one of the three greatest albums i've ever heard wasn't even finished yet, when the possibility of change on it was still there.

This was great to read and gives so much information about the time he spent in the UK. Also I realized how this followed on from the the note the he gave to Gary (Randy Magic), they both are a snapshot of his time writing the albums. :D :D :D

Do you have any other stories you can share with us Frank?

T

PS were you at any of the reunion shows he played in 1980?

i remember going to what i recall as a farewell show. i honestly don't recall if it was at the starwood or the whisky. be gentle. i'm an old man with a feeble memory, but i'll try and dredge up some recollections.

What a nice piece of Randy memorabilia to treasure Frank i hope you look after this well and hand it down to the Grand children. If you don't want to give it to them i'll take it off your hands and give it a good home LOL...
I remember seeing a photo of Randy outside a castle with Bob Daisley.(on the next page) Looking at the front of the postcard i'm sure its infront of the battlements at the bottom right photo thats the 'Tower of London' for our non London, UK dwellers. This has got to be from the same time that Randy mentions when he bought the postcard 'from London'.It's a typical sight seeing photo.Bob Daisley has got that i don't want me photo taken face on.Plus i have read about Randy's love for old buildings and architecture.I noticed on one of his guitar cases he has stickers from Scotland and Paris as mementos.

wow. what a great response. i'm so glad that you guys got so much out of that postcard. it meant a lot to me at the time and i'm happy to share it with you now. i have some student notes that i kept that randy wrote out for me that are probably more generic (not as 'time-line' worthy) but i'll send them along in a bit. i still have skezzas' address.
