Were the songs as good as the Ozzy years? Depends on your point of view. I like the '70's glam period, so I like the Quiet Riot stuff. The Ozzy stuff bores me because I've been hearing it for 30 years.
I'm guessing you experienced the glam period in person? I do think the metal side is more accessible for people that were not part of that era than the glam period.

I agree that the development is interesting, but if I had to choose between lets say a video of the recording process of Ozzy albums vs QR, I'm still sticking to Ozzy. The development part for me is not from 0 to QR but from QR to Ozzy.

I do hope this is a nice package for those who want it :)

Perhaps that became their intention once people realized how much interest was being aroused by a prospective documentary?
