Yeh Randy would have been great but so was Brad and I have no doubts about brad doing a great job. I am really sorry that brad gets such a hard time for his efforts with Ozzy because on SOTD he really shines.

my only thing i dont like about brad on the speak of the devil dvd is he uses the wammy bar a lot

but every one has there own style but other than that i liked what he did on that tour/dvd

I agree that he is heavy on the bar but he did a tough job at a tough time and when you consider that RR had changed things in rock music and for anyone filling his shoes it must have been a huge leap in performance and technique. I have a huge respect for Brad for just doing that and if you listen to Brads first show in Binghampton 82 and realise he didn't really get any band rerhersal time you realise just how good Brad was.

I finally got the DVD and was totally blown away by brad. I have had the bootlegs of this but have never watched it so when I saw the DVD it really was for the first time. It is hard to watch and not think of how cool it would be if it was randy, esp in the parts where brad kinda stops playing (goodbye to romance and revelation)......considering the time frame brad had he does a fantastic job, the whammy bar thing is probably his "go to" thing when hes a bit lost. All guitarist have there thing in that situation.......

the thing that stands out is how close to tribute ozzy's singing sounds.....when I closed my eyes and just listen to ozzy's voice I could see randy on stage with him

yea you shold see the full speak of the devil concert on youtube and then watch the new dvd theres a lot diffrent in bot picture, hd video,diffrent views its relly cool
