Re: Forgerys Fakes and Facsimile
This is one lot that has just finished on ebay. These are 100% original and this 1980 tour programme was signed by all the band. I was going to have a bid but it went well out of my budjet. £554.00 = $870.00

I bid on this one but stopped at £221.00... I'll stick to the new book instead until something pops up at a reasonable price.GUITARIDOL5682 wrote:This is one lot that has just finished on ebay. I sure wish this thread was around about 15 or so years ago when I bought this album. After looking through this and the other thread I found, I'm pretty sure this is fake. Could I get a few opinions? At least I don't think I spent a lot of money on it. RR was one of my idols and the reason I started playing guitar as a kid. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks!

Yeah i have been fooled in the past and this thread has stopped a few people being ripped off. Like you say, it is a great help to make you recognise what a real RR signature look like.Argusi wrote:I sure wish this thread was around about 15 or so years ago when I bought this album. It makes me sick when i see the amount of sellers who are blatently selling fakes.

Re: Forgerys Fakes and Facsimile
Thanks guys. I figured as much. Well, now I know better. My own fault. I researched it as much as I could at the time, but there were just not that many samples around to go by. This is a GREAT thread!

Another forged Randy signature and priced at a ridiculous amount. This guy wants his arse kicked for selling this shite. It's one of a kind alright, just nothing like the real thing.

But he is selling copies of this original masterpiece for around 10 dollars-a relative bargain despite being worthless copies of a worthless original.GUITARIDOL5682 wrote:Another forged Randy signature and priced at a ridiculous amount. Re: Forgerys Fakes and Facsimile
I've seen many signed items and i have to say this one is very questionable to being 100% or a pure fake. The description doesn't sell it for me and the price is absolutely crazy. Even if the guitar was something special or one Randy had played. What are your views on this one.
