What's with the Hmmm? Bob's still going through the final edit. Unlike most these days, he's written his autobiography himself and it involves a lot more than just the Ozzy years. I'm sure it'll be out there when he wants it to be.

It's not shelved, there's nothing going on with Sharon in regards to the book. It's a couple of months from being finished. It's by no means a small book either, 22 chapters, and involves every band/musician Bob has worked with including behind the scenes photos and many that have never been seen by anyone before.

if it has Randy in it or not imagine, Blackmore, Malmsteen, Moore ...
...and probably a plethora of guys I don' remember right now

So true! He has worked with alot of talent. But still the Randy thing is a definite must buy. At least for me

The book has not been scrapped whatsoever. Its still on...........last message i got from Bob a little while back was that the book is very long and detailed (don't forget, he played and wrote for quite a few other bands and musicians, not just Ozzy, so there's a ton of stuff to cover) and he didn't want to release some half-ass book, he wants a complete, accurate, and great product to come out. My guess would be late summer, early fall, maybe something like that. Plus he's dealing with publisher stuff, things that takes him a bit longer as he doesn't have the big and fast resources that people like Sharon and Ozzy have at their fingertips.

He did say he didn't want to release a half-assed book and too fast, like Ozzy did, and i completely agree with him. Feel free to message him on his Facebook page......anytime anyone asks him a question on it, he always responds and is very gracious with his replies.

I've been an YJM fan for 25 years but missed that one until now. Well YJM has worked with like 5000 musicians, no wonder I've lost someone. Found out about Jorn Lande's 2 week stint only a few years ago.
