Isn't that Lynchs tech-guy? Why would he be in a Randy documentary?

Sorry, I had to do it. Bad joke. I'm as heartbroken as anyone here that the documentary hasn't come out but come on, there is no new news. I don't think there is much to add...

Now what would that be?
It's not like he was around working when Randy was around,
seeing as the guy is between 30-40 ...

I've just seen this over on Bernie Torme's FB page... I think this can shine some light on the future of the doc. It ain't happening !!!!
Bernie's words
"Sheesh what a day! Some years ago i did a film interview with some director guy from California about Randy Rhoads who said he was a big fan of Randy's: I did it out of love and regard.

Yesterday I had an email because the plan had changed and they want to do a 'coffee table book' (we're all grown-ups now) and they want me to clear it. Ok mate, please send t' relevant bit.
So I then get a chapt...er of this derogatory lying piece of KRAP that is completely insulting to me, Ozzy, Sharon and Tommy Aldridge in varying degrees. SAD! What are these losers at? "

The email he was sent...
Randy was a brilliant untouchable guitar player and he definitely does NOT need your lies and twisted truth to increase his brilliance in anyone's memory. He was special, a one off, a true star, and making the people who were struggling to carry on with their lives following his death look like idiots moneygrabbers incompetents and control freaks is truly shameful. You were not there, you apparently have the empathy of a dead slug, you know nothing.

If you can't spread light and love over someone who oozed light and talent, please crawl in a hole and bury yourself. The human race has enough to be ashamed of without your shameful self profiting addition.

Randy was brilliant.

I'll have 2 guesses where this came from ???...

Well if you go about pissing off your 'star' people, your project will suffer. I may be reading this wrong, but if the docu has turned into a book ??. I could understand, picking up the pieces and salvaging something from the material. All the images / photos would of been paid for, to be used in the docu. So the book may be something to look forward too. Or it may turn into something similar like Ozzy's anniversary box set. Or is that just wishful thinking ?.

Personally I'm over all the drama... Not expecting anything at this point. I'll just be happy enjoying what I have & move on.
If anything gets officially announced then it will be advertised. The anticipation, week after week is just bullshit & draining. This whole drama is so disrespectful to Randy. Unbelievable what so called friends & associates have been doing for 30 YEARS. It's a damn joke.

Randy was brilliant.

So you're saying this was an email sent to Bernie from Peter/Dakota? If so, it doesn't make sense as Bernie replaced Randy... he wasn't involved with the band while Randy was alive, so how would he have any input other than to describe the mood after Randy's death?

No I don't think that was the email Bernie was sent, that was his rant about the doc and I assume PM. Wonder what how/why the doc was shelved, tho I have my suspicions.

Bernie is as honest as the day is long - he certainly doesn't need that kind of BS.

A lot of rock musicians his age are playing the music they made 30/40 years ago', where as Bernie continues to produce new music and lives in the now - I admire that greatly
