RR setlist 1982
This has been talked about before in the past. I decided to scan the pic of Randy's setlist so we could get a better look at it.This was in a Guitar magazine from 2008. When they opened up Randy's amp head they found this lying in the flight case. I have always said that the setlist would of been used for Pete Mertons to know what guitars Randy would need for the change overs in songs during the set. I don't think this would of been the setlist he would of used on stage. But it has been wrote out by Randy the green pen may have been added by Pete ?.

Re: RR setlist 1982
if anyone is wondering I believe the 'new" he was referring to new charvel , the black jackson for that song. Though is debatable he played it also on I don't know. I swore he brought it out twice in concert but that was so many years go but that guitar really stood out to me since that was the first I ever seen a guitar look like that.
Re: RR setlist 1982
Why did he call them charvels when they had jackson clearly labeled on headstock? He even calls the sandoval a spotted charvel! Not important but funny. At least he got the LP right.TAB wrote:if anyone is wondering I believe the 'new" he was referring to new charvel , the black jackson for that song. It's because during Randy's lifetime there wasn't a "Jackson" company, the company name was Charvel and his guitars were the 'custom shop' version.
I see the V listed as "spotted" and only used for Suicide Solution and Mr. Crowley... the "Charvel" is the white "concorde"

One thing that puzzles me is the mention of his 'spotted V' mentioned at Suicide Sol. It indicates a change over for his Les Paul for the outro solo. When you see pics of Randy doing his spotlight solo he's normaly seen using his PDV ?. Or was this during the first Blizzard 1980 - '81 tour ?
Re: RR setlist 1982
He may of changed from the polkadot V to the Les Paul during the drum solo. I'm not sure if he used a bar after the drum solo or not.
Re: RR setlist 1982
I don't remember seeing this. Cool!!!

Good that this was brought up. I had forgotten this particular item. It´s really interesting piece of memorabilia. If one can call it that...
