Glasgow/tickets

Geez! This thing sold for $360USD but then a Cow palace '82 did $18USD. I just bought a Blizzard w/2 different Hammersmith '80 tickets. What I didn't know was that they were taped to the album. Lucky the tape being so old fell off the tickets but stuck to the album. The tape did leave some marks on the tickets. There was writing on the front (but no Ozzy mention) about the venue and the date in pen. I was worried but Ozzy Osbourne/Blizzard of Ozz was on the back in a blue stamp when I flipped 'em over. Any reason it went so high, other than it being the first gig? Just wondering...

Yeah that was one of my auctions, that's the most money i've made from a single ticket stub. I also had a Blizzard 1980 UK tour prog with the fold out poster & 2 tickets glued to the front cover, both from the Southampton Gaumont theatre gig 1980. That sold for £40.00 = $70.00 and the mentioned Cow Palace 1981 ticket $18 = £11.50. It amazes me how those little pieces of printed paper which cost a few pounds back in 1980 can sell for so much this AC/DC ticket from 1976 sold for £555.00

They are becoming very collectible and over the last five years i've seen the prices rocket. Collecting Music memorabilia is becoming big business. The Hammersmith Odeon tickets from the 70's - 80's they all had the info stamped on the back. You been getting more vinyl ?. Post the tickets up please...
That Glasgow ticket had an added piece of history with it being connected to Randy's 'official' debut gig with Ozzy. Very much like the Knoxville ticket from 1982 being Randy's last gig. I specialise in collecting items from the 1980 -'81 Ozzy tour dates. I've got ticket stubs from nearly all the dates i'm missing 8 tickets to complete my collection.
1st October New Theatre Oxford
6th October King George's Hall Blackburn
10th October Taunton Odeon Taunton
17th October Newcastle Mayfair
18th October Hull City Hall
20th October Colston Hall Bristol
28th October Sunderland Mayfair
29th October Middlesborough town hall

Congrats on the nice ebay sale. It's weird that I bought an album that had 2 tickets taped on a BOO cover and a poster. While you had something similar. The poster was from the tour programme and it had the "Free poster inside" sticker. Somewhere I have a "Former lead singer of Black Sabbath" sticker on a BOO. It must of been a common thing to do, affixing tickets to the album of the group.

Yeah Joe you do find the albums sometimes have cuttings and tickets inside of them. That Blizzard album is becoming very popular with Ozzy / Randy collectors i seen one sell at the weekend for £75.00 which is the most i've seen it go for. I sold this last year with the 'British Pressing' sticker.

Did you get that for a good price, the fold out poster is worth more then the album.
You got yourself a bonus with those tickets. Its a pity about the sellotape stains, these are the ones from my collection if you notice the day has been corrected on the second ticket. It should of been Saturday. I wonder how many people turned up and missed the gig. Notice the different colours of tickets for the different areas and blocks of seats.

That's a bonus Sheffield City Hall 1980 ticket i picked up during my earlier ticket collecting days and it's signed on the back by a well pissed Ozzy and Randy. I have had the signature authenticated, as i originaly thought it was fake.

It was $75USD or 50P. It was a blind thing too. There was no pic, just a description: Ozzy BOO LP w/2 1980 tickets and poster. :?: I'm kind crazy that way.

50p thats = to 50cents £50.00 sounds more like it. Sometimes a gamble can pay off.

It was like Christmas waiting to see what I got. I don't think I have the pound symbol on my keyboard. I was just trying to sound cool instead of saying pounds. It probably came off like some saying 75D over here.
