They would have been the California Angels during Randy's life... actually Los Angeles Angels until he was 9.

By all accounts I've seen, he showed little interest in sports... maybe Frank Santa Cruz or Kelly Garni would know differently as they knew him as a person and not a guitar hero.

Me- Hey Mr. Garni,
A topic just came up on ultimaterhoads.com that talks about if Randy had a favorite sports team. Can you answer this since you probably knew him the best/most out of anyone besides his family? Get to me when you can.

A good question. We/he didn't like sports at all and could not understand why people even watched it on TV. We didn't know one team from another. It would be safe for me to say, we knew absolutly nothing about sports.

I am a HUGE Yankees fan!! And yes, Zakk is too. He even has his main stage guitars numbers to match famous Yankees uniform numbers; for example 3 is Babe Ruth, 4 is Lou Gehrig, 5 is Joe DiMaggio etc...Also, I read a funny interview with him once where he was saying that when he plays Boston the fans chat "Yankees suck!" at him lol. Good times...
