That is so cool that you were at the show to! We saw one hell of a concert! It's a shame that your pictures were destroyed in the flood, Was that the flood of 1993 ?? Do you remember OR hear the interview with Ozzy on K-SHE 95, the night of the concert? I've contacted them twice over the years and asked them if they had any recording in there archives of that interview. But sadly they don't! I would love to find someone who recorded it and let everyone hear it but, I can't and feel that it's been lost forever? I do know there is a picture of Randy Rhoads in the book called In Concert: KSHE and 40+ Years of Rock in St. Louis http://www.stlbook.com/ - It's a small pic of him taken at the show we saw I think?
Take Care!

WOW, it is unbelievable you were looking for the recordings of the KSHE interview too! I went looking for them about 10 years ago when one of my friends interned there when he came out of the school "Broadcast Center" in the Lou. Unfortunately, he said they had nothing. That " AWWWWWWWWW K-SHE" (sorry had to do it) book is a picture of what looks like the show. Yes, I lived in Chesterfield valley, and 93 flood cleaned out our basement. It wasn't just the photos and LPs. I lost my three (3) different diary tour version Tees that I never wore and a bunch of KSHE bumper stickers they gave out. It was a hard loss. I miss home tremendously....but everyone has to make a living. We did see one hell of a show. I mean no disrespect to any other players, but I saw Oz with Jake and Zach and it just wasn't the same. No vibe. I know younger lads may want to crucify me on that statement, but back in the early 80's it was difficult to make a guitar sound so damn good without technology. The only concert that came close to the same vibe was seeing Van Halen during the Mean Streets tour. WOW, Eddie was in his prime. And basically just plugged right in to the amps with no effects.
On a side note, the news reporter was named Robin Smith. I think she is still in St Louis if I am not mistaken on KMOV. Not sure. I would love to find out if they have any tape. I swear they were stage side ! If that concert got filmed, all I can say is HOLY HELL. Do you remember the spotlight solo I am talking about? I have searched everywhere for a pic of RR pointing out the crowd. I have never forgotten that moment !
Good to talk to a fellow Louin !
