LOL. I think we are use to the word "delay" being attached to everything concerning Randy by now.

Appreciated Tom!

Proud yes, nervous definitely -- as with the Cliff Burton book I wrote a couple of years ago, the fans are very, very dedicated and (quite rightly) will not tolerate anything less than a first-class effort. Fingers crossed the real Rhoads fans such as you guys like it!

It's definitely no more than a couple of weeks away, at least in UK/Europe. Keep me posted.

At least in this case, it has nothing to do with the author, red tape, securing rights, etc...this is an instance of the publisher dropping the ball. I would imagine they'd want to rectify the situation quickly if they want to continue as Joel's publisher, seeing how he has several irons in the fire.
Sadly, more than a few of the fans on the facebook RR society think the dates pushed back are on the author, which a few of us were quick to correct. Secondly, a lot of folks think the age error, (saying Randy lost his life at age 26), automatically means the book is poorly written, what they don't realize is that is from an editorial blurb provided by the brain trust at amazon who obviously did some quick math, as opposed to actually reading the fucking book.
Again, this was pointed out to those same fans.
Simply put: amazon shouldn't assign someone to write an editorial review/product description on a subject they aren't familiar with.

Nah, the folks here and TK know better, Geo, it's more the newbie FB fans who are just discovering places like this exist. They tend to be a bit squirrely

That one is out in July I believe, but as you've seen from the Rhoads discussion, dates are merely an imaginary construct in publishing land :-)
