Ha! Yeah, at one point in the Doc, Ozzy says (regarding his tassled shirts) "what was I thinkin' man??" Well, let me tell you Ozzy, the tassled shirts are awesome. Instead, you should have been looking over at Rudy (licking is fingers and bobbing his head) and thought "what was I thinking when I hired THIS guy??"

Re: SPOILERS - Talk About The Box Set
Well, here are my thoughts:
1. I'm very happy to FINALLY hear the end of the TONIGHT FADE SOLO, I never thought I'd hear that. Also, just the master guitar for part of it and the "live band" finish for it. That is worth the boxset by itself.
2. The palladium footage is as I speculated on some post here (roughly 3 minute segments), but you get through the whole concert to the end with the bowing. I think that is worth more than a few complete songs. It's cool to see how small the stage is and how far away they are from the crowd. What a strange time.
3. The DOAM footage is good to see with great sound, you've already heard about the idiot camerman zooming in on Tommy and Rudy during Randy's solos, but it's still great.
4. Listening to the master tracks, even though they are limited, is priceless to me. Especially Revelation and Tonight.
5. I don't think there is more footage from New Mexico, but I do believe there might be more of the BOO tour somewhere, but this will hold me for now, I've waited 30 years for it.
6. The "RR" guitar solo, is just Randy playing around with the tape running on the masters from Ridge Farm, the opening riff is totally new to me, not QR or Spotlight.

I am grttng the feeling these guitar tracks and fades are selectable in the documentary???
Re: SPOILERS - Talk About The Box Set
I wish, but there are chapters you can pick and it's basically Ozzy and the other guy, I don't know who he is, but he's selectively playing the songs and randomly singling out the masters of just Randy. He does it for multiple songs - YLAMLAY, Tonight - all the way to the end, RME - the intro, the solo, DOAM.
It's incredible to listen to it, I wish you could isolate it. But, it's plainly heard, that's the best part!
