Has anyone thought about contacting sony, to see if this extended longer trailer is available. I cannot see it being a problem when you tell them that it'll be posted up on a web site like this one ?. We need teased more Dave i hope your still on the hunt for it mate.

At first glance, the footage:

1. Ozzy in Blue Fringe Shirt (BOO Tour) Probably Palladium
2. Ozzy in WHite Fringe Shirt (BOOTour) Probably Palladium
*Could be that BOTH Palladium shows were filmed!
3. Diary footage. 0:53-0:55, this looks like it is NOT ET footage since randy appears to be in different stage gear and looks like there is an audience clapping along.
4. Diary footage probably from the same gig since Randy is in same stage gear as 3.

Better study of this will reveal more, I'm sure.

That's the whole point of it being an advertising trailer to plug the product. Why wait until the day of release when you can advertise for months leading up to that date and after. The more days you plug it the better i.e more sales. Where did the original trailer come from, was it on the Ozzy website ?.

Shaun, not sure where the trailer originated. We know the long version was shown by Ozzy's people, to the folks at Randy's memorial on the 19th, but folks in the community didn't start noticing the short version, and discussing it, until the 23rd.
I can't access any kind of video link from work, so I'm unsure if the vimeo link on Ozzy's site states the date it was posted, but youtube does show dates, so anyone stateside could tell us when yt had it.

I called sony and talked to some guy who didnt even know about the boxset and footaqe coming, that was a waste, called epic and left a very detailed message on aquiring the LONG version for us randy fans and sent a couple of emails, NADA so far. But i gave it a shot!

i was in my bed trying to go to sleep and for some reason had the Quiet Riot song "Ravers" in my head.. and it hit me.. The lick Randy plays at the start of the short trailer is the intro to "Ravers". Watch it again and think about it... Its at least really close. If you could hear 2 more seconds of it you could hear that pintch harmonic Randy hits before the the drums and vocals come in. Just a tad different tempo.

Thanks for the effort Lyon!! I Assume w/all the Hype the Short Trailer has created that they will release the long one before too long......the BOxset is still like 60 Days Away.....Ahhggh.
And that Ozzy Vivo traieler was released on th 18th!!!!!
I didnt even know about that until the 23rd & I was Looking,not even knowing there was a trailer.
