Because the world's economy is in shambles as a result of that mentality. Greed has caused most of humanities problems. The music industry (as with all the other industries) raise prices beyond reasonable out of greed.

I'm not saying anyone else shouldn't buy it, I'm just saying I've been waiting since '82 and i don't think it's worth it.
well the worlds economy is F up because of people borrowing money they don't have to buy something the shouldn't have because they can't afford it.........if you have the cash in your pocket to buy this then it won't effect the economy in any way, if you borrow the money to buy this and then don't pay that money back then it effects the economy

Bottom line is if people with the cash don't spend the cash the economy DIES......

As usual everyone chiming in has no different or alternative thought. Keep broadcasting that you will pay almost anything for almost anything of Randy. Don't ask for what you deserve. Keep being a sheep and follow the flock. Don't inquire of ever disappearing carrots used to taunt you. Don't critique their motives but give them ideas how Randy can be stretched out and sold over the next few years. "Tribute 2017 re-release 30 year anniversary with one new Ozzy pic, remixed with even more distortion and featuring Kelly Osbourne sings with Randy!" The name calling was pure tongue in cheek as well as the Shakespeare but was lost on some like the point did...

Get your light sabre out of your arse .... so we have to go on your word ?. So everything you say is gospel and 100%. We can all speculate and wish mate. Your just putting a BIG negative on the WHOLE thing. Come back with a good positive and some news that ain't speculated or full of MAYBE's. It's easier said then done mate. As far as name calling goes mate i'm no kid throwing bullshit about just have some respect for others and lets play nicely..

By my standards this is how I would break down the box set and what one would pay for this stuff if it were any other top 40 artist today:

1. Blizzard CD $18
2. Diary CD $18
3. Blizzard Record $20
4. Diary Record $20
5. DVD $25
6. Cross Replica $50
7. Coffee table book $40
8. 2 posters $20

That right there comes to $210

Those are what I think these items would go for if it were any other artist like John Mayer or SRV or whatever.

I think we are getting a bargain at $150 for all that.

ugh......because i and alot of other people certainly don't want the vinyl.
And don't want or need a "coffee table" book.
And REALLY don't want the unbelievably STUPID replica "ozzy cross".
Definitely don't want "posters".

I'm really pushing it for the CD remasters, especially with how many times they've been re-released, remastered, remixed, and whatever else, but considering how important these albums are and the supposed remaster job, i'll take them.
So, no......its not a 'bargain' being strong-armed, moblike, to have to spring for the boxset. Especially in this economy (really any economy). I could spend that extra money on my kids or many other things.

I believe Randy was known for his unique phrasing...

Yes, of course I'm in for what comes out but I think it won't be exactly what could be on there. I also think advertising what we would pay for it no matter what or because we have been starved for Randy, is insane, man and you can't promise you won't be disappointed. I hope I'm wrong and it's best Randy thing to come out but I don't know. I have my doubts. Will we will hear any of "the guys talking in the studio" Sharon mentioned earlier (Bob's tapes) or just 2010 remixes? The NYC Palladium 8mm boot was filmed in from of the stage. We can hope it's the 1st generation + modern editing equipment can clean it up to pro. Once again, I hope I'm totally wrong because nothing would make me happier. When I think of unknowns, I have to think of the most logical answers.
