If the O's have anyone checking boards like this then they know RR 'fans' will spend stupid amounts of money. "If they'll spend it, why not suck every dime out of them?" The RR 'community' has proven to be willing to pay whatever is asked for RR stuff, as a result this'll be expensive.
Personally, if it's more expensive than Kissology, I won't buy it. I haven't had it for 30 years, don't need it for the next 30.

I don't want the vinyl...or the book...or the ridiculously dumb "cross" replica.
I can't imagine these re-do's will do much with the general public as they've been re-releasd, remastered, remixed, repackaged multiple times already.
I hope they throw out a better press release or a trailer in the near future.
Theres a simple answer for you then isnt it, dont buy it, but dont come on here trying to put the mood of this release down, because thats all you are doing.
As lots of people have said they are looking forward to the release and for the majority of us we are looking forward to not just the footage but everything else including the book.
If we feel that paying the amount is worth it then why shouldnt we its our choice, it our money.
I will enjoy the 31st of may regardless of what i get in the boxset, I just happy this is happening.

Jas.
Dude right on! Before this was announced you had a million people on here drooling over the idea of anything being released and now that it is we've got some people crapping on it because it's not "perfect" to their wishes.
The price is fine with me, I'm just happy to finally have something from the master that is Randy Rhoads!

Because the world's economy is in shambles as a result of that mentality. Greed has caused most of humanities problems. The music industry (as with all the other industries) raise prices beyond reasonable out of greed.
I'm not saying anyone else shouldn't buy it, I'm just saying I've been waiting since '82 and i don't think it's worth it.
I'll pay the $150 out of respect for Mr.Rhoads and I figure most of the people buying the box set will be Rhoads fans indeed, this will show the Osbourne's how much demand there is hopefully
I'm buying the box. I do find it interesting that the Southampton show, YCKRAR long vers, Tonight long vers, DOAM 2010 mix, Revelation unreleased vers all contain performances/versions with Bob and Lee that were never previously released, and now they're deleted from the track lists. Everything else left on the box with Bob and Lee was previously released and maybe they figure they're ok lawsuit-wise on those prev released tracks. Hopefully they'll get back in there. Maybe they'll be bonus tracks for certain retailers or countries. Going by those original box set photos, not description, it looked obvious that there was going to originally be a Blizzard Legacy Edition with the Southampton show as the 2nd disc and Diary was going to have the DVD as the 2nd disc. I'll be happy either way as it would be nice just to have (hopefully) significantly better sonics on the just 2 albums themselves, although it would be extra nice to get those extra carrots that were dangled (esp the Southampton show) in some way. The video should be better quality than anything out there, hopefully. That book should be a beauty. Happy YLAMLAY is still in there and looks like the 7" mix. Can't wait to hear how the '81 show turns out, esp if it's the KBFH unaltered.
wow great news. On the footage, Im sure I read somewhere, I think it was zakks tweet that he thought it was the NY palladium and that it was pro shot plus if it is bootleg then at least its at the front of the stage. I was kinda hoping for a full show but if the footage is from 1981 AND 1982 looks like its gonna be a few songs here and their. Better than nothing though and at least we are getting the albums restored and a full proper dedication to those albums. I dont think their will be anything more randy wise from the osbournes officially released so iell definately be buying it, even if the price tag is steep. Also why the hell would they list tracks on that promo only days ago and for them to suddenly be removed?
€ 150,00 is a huge price, transport is included according to Ozzy's webshop.
Even if transport to Europe is no extra cost, I risk severe custom dueties when importing this box.
Also this dvd might be region 1.
There should be a UK release too, after all Ozzy is British...
The best thing would be a 'light' box, without the vinyl, book, poster and replica cross... for about € 50,00.
You guys act like gitty girls who have just fallen in love. All heart and no brain. I better not catch wind of any negative comments after you fully endorsed it, dropped your money and told others that this is what you have been waiting for (even though it keeps shrinking) and you had to buy it. Whoops, they pulled the DVD now. Just kidding or will they? We are all Randy fans. If some are more skeptics than others, that's just the nature of the beast. But if you like being teased, having things disappear (Diary outtakes, South Hampton) and they can come back here, in real time to watch certain cheerleaders defend it with, "I'm buying it no matter what." You guys have become perfect consumers or a perfect focus group. "Sharon's old fashion grape kool aid" drink it down quick without thinking...

You have to remember that the USA release of BOO & DOAM was 1981 the BOO was released in the UK in 1980, so that would be a 31st Anniversary ?. So it may just be sold in the USA etc. Remember that Randy's memorial next year will be his 30th anniversary. So the full length Live dvd shows may be released on the strength of how these new editions and box set sell ?.

Kids remember, when you see the word "MAY" it means it tells you nothing new. It means may or may not. Like lemons may cure cancer. The new box set may contain unreleased Randy Rhoads. And you speculate that Sharon may release FULL versions next year??? You sir, ARE a colossal douche bag! A curse upon your house!
