I was trying to find the thread where this photo was posted.... Someone had mentioned they had visited Ridge Farm and photographed the inner court yard where the early pics of the band came from.

I did a thread a while ago, and i posted up that bottom pic of the band sitting under the tree. Some fan had been to Ridge farm studios and had a guided tour. He had photos of the place that the set of pics above where shot.Axemeister wrote:Where is the rest of the picture set at ridge farm. Ive never seen them!!!
I'm forgeting this may have been lost during the time the site was down.

Looking back at those Palladium shots i noticed Rudy Sarzo with his leg warmers/socks. Why did so many musicians in the 80's wear them. They looked like a young girls fashion accessory but someone led the way to say it was ok for them to go on stage dressed that way. Dio, Coverdale,Yngwie, just to name a few.

Dunno what was up with that fashion statement. DL Roth wore leg warmers with capezios as well, but he could pull that look off much better...he at least took it a step further and tied bandannas around them too, so they didn't look so goofy.
From the Diary tour, through Quiet Riot and Whitesnake, Rudy would favor knee length boots.
Tommy's rockin' the parachute pants, but at least those didn't date as badly

Whenever I put on Blizzard or Diary, what a wonderful, delicate furious beast.... I MISS you, man!

Geez, I'm surprised Ross Halfin hasn't threatened us to remove these pics from the site.
