Getting a new amp.

I've grown tired of the amp-modelling thingy, so I'm looking
to get a new amp :)

First we have a Randall RH100G2 :)
then a Marshall JCM800 :)
and a Laney VH100R :D

Your opinions ? :D

I'd get the marshall.......

i'm tempted by the Marshall as well, but I'd like a little
more info on the other 2, especially the Laney :)

If your getting a Marshall the only way to go is a real vintage amp. The new Marshalls suck. They are nothing like they used to be.

They use PCB now :( not handwired anymore

Randy used three ´76 superleads and those were, if I am correct, also PCB and not HW. :wink:
Laney VH100R
Check out the Laney GH100L as well, I heard very good things about those. Never heard this amp myself though. Paul Gilbert and also Steve Vai did use them.

Not really, but Dime could be a part of my desicion 8)
Although I love his sound and his playin', it's not what
I'm after :P I'm going for my own sound :shock: :D

Anyway ... so I ordered a cab to go with it ;)

I am buying a Roland electric drum kit to use when I teach my drum students, I resisted moving from acoustic kits for a while but I need to have something that I can control the volume. I will now be looking at amplification and I have no idea what to consider regards amps!!!
Do any of you have any ideas?
