Does anybody know where i can get a March 19, 1982 newspaper that has an article about Randy's death? is there anybody else on here that has kept one?

I've got a few cuttings from the music press announcing Randy's death. It was no big thing at the time. Small columns of info which briefly mentioned "The Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads died in a plane crash". In comparison to some of the pages i seen in the UK press about the late Gary Moore's death. Full page articles in 'The Times'. I would say that if Randy had still been in Quiet Riot it wouldn't of made the press at all. As we all know Randy wasn't a star until he joined Ozzy's band. If anyone has any articles from the time could you post them up. I'll dig out the couple i have, and post them up.

Everytime i see these papers or magazine prints about randy's death i think 'poor bast@rd' because he didn't deserve to die like that or that soon after getting some sucess, it is tragic.

the picture of his funeral is amazing...thats a lot of flowers...i dont think i have ever seen pictures of his funeral

Yeah,I was Surprised when I saw that in the Paper nonetheless!You can see a Polka-Dot Flower guitar there too!
I Guess She had to be married,I remember a few Pics of Randy w/Kathys Daughter in Tribute.

I was thinking....from the shape of what we can see....to me,(at this moment,I am gonna keep looking) it looks like it either is Randy W/Kathys daughter like inside Tribute,or the Frank Livzey Pics (Randys Last Photo shoot) w/the Dark Blue Backgroud?

Thats the first pic i have seen of the inside of the church on the day of the funeral. Are you trying to guess what that photo is next to the coffin ?. Its a square frame with a blur inside ?. How can you tell from that photo ?. This is one i had saved in my documents. Hard to read but someone else may be able to post it up. Cheers for those clippings Dave are those all yours ?.
