I don't recall ever stating they didn't want to make money, I do recall saying that CAN'T make money on the footage.

Once again, the footage was recorded illegally without permission, Sharon claims it to be stolen. If they try to make EVEN A PENNY off of it, Sharon can sue their asses.

WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND???? Sharon won't give them permission to sell it, they can't sell it, they want to make money off of it (Speculation), but can't because it's illegal.

They aren't going to release it for free. They've had almost 30 years to release it to the public in some way or another, yet they haven't.

They've shown no interest in releasing it (Without some form of payment) so it isn't going to happen.


I really hate to be a negative Nancy, but you all should really just accept that it won't be released. Not as long as the brother's own the footage and Sharon's stopping them.

You can hope they release it all you want, but I'm just going to say that you really shouldn't get your hopes up.

The tape itself is their's.

Stealing the footage would mean they could sue whoever stole it because it belongs to them. The footage ON the tape isn't their's.

As I understand it, that footage had been making its rounds years before the internet was around. There really wasn't much they could do to stop it.

They didn't try to market that footage, as in, they didn't try to sell it to a big company to sell at places like Wal Mart or whatever.

It's their footage, they deserve money for their hard work, but as far as I know, Sharon refuses to pay them for it. They can't sell it legally.

I seriously doubt you know what they went through to get that footage (I don't, but I have a good idea.) if you were in their shoes, I don't think you'd just give it away.
