Tito, I'm not being fresh, I'm simply asking a question because of what OTH said. Everyone has given him beyond the benefit of the doubt and nothing ever materialized about it. Now if he lied about the whole thing(big word is IF) then there should be a lot of pissed off people on here. IF he didn't and the theater owner was lying to him, then shame on the theater owner and if the whole thing fell apart because of legal issues, then bummer.

I don't doubt wareagle one bit. The person he's talking about is the real deal with concert footage. However, as seen with everything else revolving RR, it's easier to piss a watermelon then it is to get RR material released. I hope something will happen with it one day, but I applaud his efforts.

Ive thought about this alot,but never felt like persuing the question on if it was true as It
seemed legit enough of a story but also its likely that the guy had something w/Brad or Jake .
Either way its been at least a few months since the last news.Last I remember hearing/reading was that the guy was in some kinda negotiations w/Sharon over sreening it??
Mabey it is true & the Osbournes had worked out something w/the guy,but even if that was the case it seems tat anyone whom may know something cant say anything (legaly)

The same kid (wareagle) gave me the film guys email address and if he had anything to hide i don't think he would of freely handed it over.

No this is not the az footage. The thread went slightly of topic, last year one of our fellow randy fans on here by the name of wareagle had contact with a very famous music archivist called bill shelley in new york. hes known world wide for his huge archives of rare and never before seen music footage, wareagle had known him and had contacted him regarding possible randy footage in his archives, wareagle gave us regular updates on this but confirmed a while back now that bill was dealing with sharon osbourne over footage he did in deed have.
As this AZ thread returned slightly back to the footage that wareagle had talked about i decided to contact bill myself to see if this footage really existed and the reply i had confirmed that he is indeed dealing with sharon on this.
This could definitely be the reason for the delay in the 30th anniversary releases as they are sorting out contracts etc.
What it does confirm those is that footage does exist in his archives.
I have contacted him back to see if i can possibly get an update on this.
he seems a very approachable guy and hopefully i can get further info from him.
As soon as i get an update i will let all you guys now. in the mean time can we keep a low profile on contacting him as he may not respond back if we all pester him.

This sounds kind of cryptic to me. He never says that he actually has the footage wareagle is asking about. It could the footage that Ozzy/Sharon/Zakk talked about already seeing. Nowhere does it say that he HAS any footage. He just says, “I am in negotiations for ANY Randy footage. Maybe he wants to show what’s going to be on the DVD next year. Or he really DOES have what wareagle was talking about but he wants to be cryptic for legal reasons???

Sorry guys i asked him about supplying footage to my film company and that why he responded in that why, I contacted him looking for footage.

He couldnt give me what i wanted because he was already dealing with sharon, if he didnt have anything he would have said he didnt have anything, i was quite specific when i asked him for footage. Remember he runs an archive and supplies footage to many projects. if he didnt have anything he would have just said so.
If you remember what wareagle said was bill was all ready dealing with sharon, and bills comments just confirms what wareagle said.

so... If this cat lives in NYC that seems to further prove that the concert is likely from the Palladium. Seems to make sense. Sharon and Ozzy viewed a copy of what he had... Ozzy Twitted about it.. A release date was prematurely set.. and now here we stand with negotiations still ongoing. Dude is driving a hard bargan.

Well I am glad I had the story right myself! Its unbelievable that this guy has such an Archive!
i wonder what it is??? Im thinking that it would have been one of the NY shows && I think Ozzy said it was "I think a very early NY show" but this guy whom ran the archive coulda had stuff from any number of venues/promoters,either way it could be Great.
