No Numbers,but I know they did Well.I know that it even came as a Bonus DVD w/Vinnie Pauls "DimeBag" Book.Which was Distributed through Best Buy ....So I dont know how many sold?But I bet it was a good amount.

This is the first I've heard of the Phoenix brothers, does anyone know where I could get more information on them. I don't understand why they wouldn't want to release that footage, it looks brilliant and something that should be shared. I find it very frustrating that's theres so much footage of guys like Hendrix from so long ago but it seems with Randy people have a death grip on his stuff and won't release anything.

No comment on the still looking like the ET footage? BTW only the "new" trailer shows the guitar solo to OTM, it's not on the ET. If the footage had been destroyed/thrown away, how did they get the guitar solo? Any Randy fans here that have actually watched the footage or the bootlegs?? Or should I chime in with, "I hope or they should do this" useless Blabbity blah...

Right,Peter had Obviously aquirred the E.T Master footage Un-edited as its a Single Camera edited to look like a Multi camera shot,there are a few clips on the Trailer & the Over the Mountain solo obviously that are that footage.I personally Couldnt believe that ET actually still had that Master film in their vaults from 25 years by the time PM got it,I just find it AMAZING that the Video had survived.
As for the Brothers,wernt they mentioned in a Guitar World article in 2006-07 ????

Hopefully Sharon had contacted them & We Know that the Pro-shot Blizzard show exsists too!
Hopefully Sharon is doing right & Everyone whom may have a Quality recording/Video from that time (Bob Daisley,Tommy,Lee,& of course Ozzy himself) I just wonder if they had something since they early 80s why it wouldnt have been used for Tribute???

That's a good question on the Tribute album, its just puzzling why they'd want to keep all the Randy material to themselves. Who are the brothers? I tried to Google it but I couldn't find much information on them.

They don't want to release it. It's their footage, and if they don't want to release it, there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it. And they said they had 2 shows, which some are assuming means either both Palladium sets, or one Palladium set and the E.T. footage (Which they may be saying is a "show")

As for the third thing, they never said that was a show. They said they had 2 shows and a third "FILM" meaning (What I would assume) possibly some in studio video they had, or some behind the scenes stuff they recorded, a home movie (Not likely), or something else.

And you probably won't find much on the brothers. All we know is that they are brothers who live (Or at least lived) in Arizona, filmed some concerts, and are keeping the footage for themselves.

Please don't bother people about their real names or anything. They don't want to release it, so don't annoy them about it.


And the whole "If they had things in the 80's, why didn't they use it then for Tribute" thing has been asked a million +1 times. It all goes back to, either they didn't know they had it at the time, they didn't feel it was right to release it, Mrs. Rhoads wouldn't let it be released, etc.


I wonder what would happen if the Osbournes made some sort of press release asking for people to release any footage they may have of Ozzy and Randy.

It'd be cool of they did do that. Maybe people would begin showing us the footage.

I guess it's alright if the Phoenix Bros are keeping the footage because of "respect" towards Rhoads, but if they're keeping it for no reason, then it's something to argue, no doubt. If they won't give it up, then they are just making many Rhoads fans.......

To be honest though the whole "respect" thing can be spun both ways. You can respectfully keep the material to yourself to not benefit off his talent or you can be respectful in spreading the fact that this man was one of the greatest guitarists to have ever lived and didn't get even close to his potential as a musician. How someone can sit there and think "well I'm going to keep this from everyone so that I'm respecting Randy" that thought doesn't make much sense to me especially when a typical Rhoads fan is very respectful of his life/career.

You're right though, it all boils down to it being their footage and for whatever reason are keeping it private. Those pictures are awesome though and hopefully we'll see the footage one day.
