The Randy Rhoads Family - Gibson Interview Part 2
"I studyed cello, violin, flute, saxaphone ..... tuba ....... no I haven't had much background!"
Re: The Randy Rhoads Family - Gibson Interview Part 2
That was an Awsome interview! Could you imagine if Randy ggot his wishes & got Frankie Banalli & Rudy!!!!
Its just so unfortionate that Ozzy had wanted Tommy all along to the point that when he was available they broke up the band. And since Bob wasnt about ditching Lee after 40 drummers they found the right guy,Lee.
They just pitched him too.I wonder the reality of that situation? As far as Randys feelings???Bob had a very distinct style that Complimented Randy So well & visa versa. And he wrote the lyrics too. That had to be a factor for Randy wondering the troubles w/a new lineup for recording/writing,Bob had worked w/Richie Blackmore for gods sake,Did Randy really think that B & L as Ozzy said "were a bunch of Geeks"?
Rudy & Tommy were both great, but they were playing written stuff,Rudy has a great track record, but was never too prominant as for writing credits ,& Ozzy appearently had Probs w/Tommys Studio performances.
Just cuz a guy can Shread live, doesnt mean he can write & thats what Bob & Lee did & obviously Randy.
I can hear So much of Lees Vocal Idea on Diary that are distinctly different than Ozzys but overall w/Ozz singing made "The Band" Thanks for sharing

There should be a delete button on bottom right in each post you made. (?)DMRX wrote:oops

If there are no new posts made after it you can delete it entirely, but if there are posts made after the post you want to delete you can't delete it anymore but only edit it. Usually we remove double posts when we see them.
But one can always ask some of the mods to have a post removed as well.
*best is to do have a look at the new post right after it's submitted (and after refreshing the page first), in that stage a double post will be visible and can be deleted easily by yourself. (if there are no quick posters after you)
The winner of the rat race is still a rat.

I wish they would do more interviews. That was great. Thanks.
