So recently i've been doing more, writing my own stuff, and often i comeup withgood riffs andforget them the next day.
So i decided to tab them in guitarpro, but so far ium awful at tabbing, I need some method to get the timings and stuff right.
any advice?

Just kidding:) really tho' I did it that way for years. much easier than writing tab.

As a drummer if I get any ideas I can just beat them out on the nearest flat suface and work new ideas through that way! very simple and easy.

I think he means how to get the timings and such right in like guitar pro or something.
Well, seeing as powertab doesn't care about bars and such, do it rough on there first just to get it down, then work it out properly on guitar pro.
