Sorry guys...I'm going back to page 6 when Shaun was able to get a response from Bob.

Hi Shaun, I'm not sure when the originals will be re-released, they have been postponed but I'm not sure as to when. Yes, Lee and I should be paid this time so hopefully negotiations will sort things out and get them moving. Nothing's definite at this stage though, so we'll all have to wait and see. I sincerely hope it's all remedied for the sake of the music, the record-buying fans and of course fair payment for Lee and me. Cheers and all the best, Bob.

I'm waiting on Bob to reply to a follow up to his answer. Hopefully he can shine abit more light on the subject. I get the feeling he has been in touch with the Osbournes and he knows more then he's letting on.

No News is good news but Bob had this to say over at his web site :

Hi Shaun,
Just to bring you and everyone up to speed with regards to the re-release of 'Blizzard' and 'Diary', I don't have any further information as to the postponed release date or why it has been postponed. Lee Kerslake has not been contacted by the Osbournes or Sony and although I've had indirect contact through our representatives, the proposal is still up in the air. No one would like to see these classic albums re-released in their original form more than Lee or me.

Well thats something,Ive had this in my mind for a while now,that is Anyone involved that is /has to sign off also has a Gag/Silence legal agreement via-contract.The Osbournes dont wanna let the cat outta the bag till showtime (so to speak).Thats gotta be why we cant even get an inkling as to what show/shows are /were filmed ,aside Ozzy saying "I think NY"
Zakk was the most helpful of everyone just saying it looked like a rehearsal & it sounded Very Smooth/Clear.
Im no too involved w/too much Zakk,but could someone here who is try for an update/more info??Hes a Fan,he knows how imporntant it is to us!

Bob, Many thanks for answering those questions and just to let you know that all your replies are well appreciated. Would both you and Lee have to give the Osbournes the OK to go ahead with those Ozzy albums being re-released. Or can they go ahead without your permission. I know the copyright is owned outright by them but with yous having been credited on both albums how much say do you have ?. I'm just curious to know if both you and Lee have the power to say Yes! or No!. After all the drama with the bastardised versions i know it would take some serious brown nosing to change my way of thinking. I look forward to your reply. Regards Shaun

Hi Shaun, Our representatives are still in the process of dealing with the situation so it's unclear what the outcome will be regarding the re-releases. No one wants the real-deal versions out there more than us and I'll be making a statement about this in the near future. Thanks for your interest. Power to the fans! Cheers, Bob

This was my reply back from Bob.... I'm now sure he has no say in the matter of the rerelease of Blizzard & Diary so it could be the Rhoads who are not happy.

Hi Bob, I've just read this over at blabbermouth in regards to the rereleased first 2 Ozzy albums. Can you shine any light on what is happening or if you can give us any hope of seeing these albums being released again. All Randy Rhoads fans are wanting to see this Live footage which was promised by $haron to come out this November. But they are thinking this is just never going to happening now. We are like donkeys being dangled carrots. We want to see these out and we'd like to know the latest news. Cheers Bob regards Shaun.
From Blabbermouth : Bob Daisley, who played bass on the first two solo albums by Ozzy Osbourne, said in a recent interview with his web site that he has not been contacted about the 30th-anniversary editions of those records. The tracks played by Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake on both albums — 1980's "Blizzard Of Ozz" and 1981's "Diary Of A Madman" — were replaced on a previous reissue after Daisley and Kerslake sued Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne over royalties.

Daisley told the web site, "Neither Lee nor I have been contacted, considered or consulted in the decision to re-release the original recordings. I haven't a clue as to what the 'bonus material' might be. As for royalties, we have not been approached for a reconciliation and have been offered and promised nothing."
