Randy's Documentary..... What's the deal?

I have often wondered if I will be able to go into more detail about the months leading up to that Trailer getting here or what 'some people' were doing on quiet, I suppose not though!

Of course you can go into detail... Ultimate Rhoads is all about freedom of speech, you are free to discuss anything you want. No censoring comments, no keeping secrets, be free, tell all, it'll be fun.

Don't fool yourselves. I've been censored here. I'll probably be censored again. I fully expect this to get censored.

I have some news of a full pro-shot concert in 1980 but I can't really say anything....

I find this all to be funny, that's all. It's freakin' RR stuff not national security issues. What harm could leaked trailers or news hurt the cause of Randy's Memory? Except promote the demand for it. People miss Randy, that's all.

None at all Han' that is the confusing thing isn't it? when we leaked the trailer, Peter grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory, but had he been more pleasent and less threatning he would not have lost the support of the broader RR fans base.
Had he payed attention he would have realised that he was being complimented by the very people he chose to slap around the face, the threats just made people angry and bitter.

All that trailer ever did was to promote his / Dakota's work. But it sadly didn't have that effect, it was more like a rag to a bull when PM found out. I could understand what he was bothered about but in the circumstances you don't go giving something like that away to people like Romeorose. Fuck after all the upset he caused it would be like giving a suicide bomber's family a free season ticket for all flights on British Airways. Plus it had that much film and music put onto it, with no permission for it to be used in the first place. How unprofessional but i think in spite of everything that has happened the docu has been knocked back more times then we have heard about. Did it ever get to the sundance film festival because if it did it never got mentioned. So if we ever see the film we can be sure that it has had our approval if nobody elses.

Quite true.

The way in which the trailer was acquired had to have embarrassed and pissed him off, but the reaction was totally uncalled for.

The fact that he had a story in there about Randy giving it to a woman on the toilet floor would have upset Randy's mother too I'm sure. Consider how she has treated his legacy up to this point, must have caused more upset and embarrassment for him as well with the fall out I would imagine .

It would just not be possible for him to sue the people that downloaded that clip, it is possible to download anonymously, well almost anyway. In fact that is probably how I will get hold of the documentary if it every is released. Yeah try sue me for that, it is a challenge.

As far as i am aware Romeo got it sent through some one working for Dakota. But i'm sure it was sent on the promise of i'll show you this 'BUT' please keep it to yourself. That old chestnut.... you want to sing it from the roof tops LOL!!! and it ended up here... that's what i remember being posted up here but don't quote me on that...
