One of the most moving and heart breaking things was several years back when I worked in an emotional behavioural difficulties school. Anyway, a girl there was just off the scale in how violent and angry she was at everyone! She had a horrid background and was abused herself, both sexually and physically; she hated all people (and being alive).
Anyway , she left school and a couple of years later wrote a letter to a lady she connected with - and it turned out she had somehow turned her life around. She wrote "I am so sorry for all the hurt I caused, I was just so angry. I was such a bitch and I am really sorry; please forgive me"
I was choked reading that from her and also overjoyed she had climbed from her life which literally was a living hell in her mind. The odd success' in such bleakness are worth fighting for. Bless her heart eh!xxx
