Re: Mojo Magazine
I can't see page 6, ironically the ONLY page I wanted to see. If you could please re-load it, I would be grateful.

I think Photobucket has been the most reliable for me. http://photobucket.com/Ace5150 wrote:I have NO idea why image 6 has been deleted!
If anyone can recommend a decent image uploader, I will repost

Re: Mojo Magazine

Re: Mojo Magazine
Thanks for posting this
Is there a way to either fix the link for page six, or repost it?
Ozzy seems to recall a different reality from everyone else. I had no idea he met Randy after Blizzard and Diary!
I think it's awesome Ozzy recognized his drinking problem over thirty years ago and wrote a song about it...must've been Bob Daisley all these years claiming it was written about Bon Scott.
Even in I Am Ozzy, he refers to coke as 'waffle dust', suddenly, we're magically transported to The Shire where it's known as 'Womble Dust'?
Talk about revisionist history...I wonder if on pg 6 Ozzy will claim he survived being hit by a plane, like he did in his book?

Re: Mojo Magazine
Tom i was thinking the same myself how many times does the story get changed and someone elses version has to clear the smoke...Ozzy mentions the old deaf guy who was in the mansion at Leesburg during the crash. Remember Ozzy went into the buiding, well this time the old guy has a shotgun pointed at him ?. If you've ever had to stare down the barrel of a gun its something you always remember. People like to jazz up stories and Ozzy is a funny guy but sometimes you can go well off track when retelling a story. This is page 6 here try and blow the page up for the one's lacking in the lamp oil.

I thank you kindly for posting the last page, Sir
At one point, was it not Tommy Aldridge who went into the house and encountered the elderly gentleman?

I have heard so many stories about who did what and when. I'd love to hear it from Don Airey or Jake Duncan. I tried to get Jake involved with an interview a couple of years back. He said it was far too upsetting and a memory he'd like to forget. I could imagine that time being like a living nightmare it must of been horrendous.

Re: Mojo Magazine
Sorry about that...Sir!
Seriously, though...I've always wondered why we've never seen the statements of Don, Jake and Tommy, yet the other four are out there for public view?
I thank you for attempting to get Jake for an interview. I cannot even begin to guess what life has been like for either him or Don.
Survivor's guilt in a way? They were just sitting in those same seats...
I don't ever recall if Don had said whether Andy was hotdoggin' it when he and Jake went up?

Re: Mojo Magazine
The versions of what happened have changed a bit over the years, or as Ace pointed out, Ozzy's version has
But then again O spoke of finding RRs Gibson t-shirt after and many thought that was a myth, but then it was verified
The earlier takes on it include Tommy saying that he went into the house, and he and Don ran around with a fire extinguisher but it was 'useless'. Ozzy many years ago did say that Don behaved like a 'hero' through the whole thing, so those earlier stories seem credible.
I agree, Tom. The statements of Don, Jake and Tommy have something sensitive in them. Not sure what, but somebody doesn't want them to appear. It may have been Randy Perry who originally brought the statements of the others to the public, I guess under FOI. Would be interesting to know if he was told that he couldn't have the other 3 statements. Didn't we hear that Don was taking photos of Randy as he got onto the plane and continued to photograph the plane while airborne, yet his statement remains hidden.

Thanks for posting the last page. I really appreciated that! Also Thanks Tom for the link about Randys gibson shirt. I also didn't know that Randy was wearing it on that tragic day.

Re: Mojo Magazine
I don't believe that Randy was wearing that Gibson shirt and the story where they found the piece of shirt torn and laying in the corner is bullshit , same as the bus being " bent like a boomerang "scooterh67 wrote:Thanks for posting the last page. Randy appears to have been wearing a long sleeve perhaps blue shirt on the fateful morning .
