The site mentioned these were taken at the Memorial Coliseum. Talk about being close! Randy doesn't have the skinny studs on that were next to the bigger stud band. I didn't realize the bigger stud band was blue. I thought it was black. How weird.
Holy Cow! Just incredible shots John. A B stage helps the lighting look more natural so the pics are really clear. Every shot, and a great one of him looking back.
Some amazing pics there Silver Rhoads where did you find these ?. That first pic Randy has a weird expression on his face, one which i've never seen before. I'd like to know if the photographer has any of Ozzy and the other band members. Cheers for sharing them with us.

I found them online. The site was a little cumbersome to go through and I didn't see any others. I believe they were posted not too long ago.
Yeah Silver i did a search on the guys name and found his other photos before you posted the link. It was a good blast down memory lane for me, checking out his other pics. The guy had been to see alot of bands i was into in the late 70's/80's Judas Priest UFO Scorpions AC/DC Ronnie Montrose Sammy Hagar Night Ranger / Brad Gillis. But i think those RR pics are some of his best. He is almost on the stage and at eye level wi Randy. An excellent find i'd be sure to contact the guy as he must have more then just a hand full. At the least he'll have a full roll of shots 20 - 36 max. It's weird how he doesn't recognise some of the bands he seen especialy UFO who could of been one of the support bands for Ozzy at this gig..

Thanks for this. These are some of the closest 'Diary' shots I've ever seen. Reminds me a bit of a Phoenix photo TAB put up a while back where camera guy was also very near to Randy.
Back in the 80s it was always a buzz just to see any photos of Randy in the mags and there didn't seem to be that many around, but here at UR I've seen killer photos from so many gigs. Just incredible stuff!
