This is my youngest daughter Dawn and I. She graduated High School two days ago, and has plans to go to college and become a school teacher.

Thank you both very much for your kind comments. It was a very proud moment for me, Dawn is a bright student and I know that she will reach her goal. Also, another reason we were smiling is because we were both very happy to be outside at this moment. The school decided to have the ceremony in the Gymnasium, and it must have been about 100 deg. F in there. They usually have the ceremony outside in the football stadium, but a High School student had been shot on his front porch the previous day, and the School District feared another shooting, so they made the decision to have it indoors. Sign of the times.

The worst thing we did in school was pick up our Drafting teachers volkswagen and put it on the steps of one of the fire exits. He wasn't amused.
I'm glad my daughter graduated for another reason. Some schools feel the need to have security guards. Well, her school has police officers stationed inside for security.

Nice costume. It reminds me of that Honeymooners episode where Jackie Gleason thought that he'd win the prize dressed up as the Man on the Moon, and then Art Carney shows up in his Sewer workers costume and wins the prize.

The thing with that costume Ian, is that was never planned, well, sort of, I planned to make a 1980's era Cyberman from Doctor Who, but I didnt plan the technical stuff, how to make it and stuff, I just got the card, the stuff together looked at the photograph I had on the Earthshock DVD and made it!
