A few years back there was a guy named Nate with mental problems who had difficulty discerning which was the 'real' world and which was the 'fantasy' world. I don't think it was specifically an 'online' thing, but it was a very real problem. People who knew him distanced themselves from him and people made comments about him being crazy. The thing Nate needed was help finding reality. God can cure anyone of anything at any time, who prayed for Nate and asked God to help him? I'm sure someone did, but I'm sure also that most people who knew him and came in contact with him avoided him. It's easier to walk away from a disturbing issue then it is to try to help.

Why did God not just step in and cure Nate without anyone praying for him? I don't have that answer.

Nate eventually completely lost reality and on December 8th, 2004 and he shot and killed Erin Halk, Jeff Thompson, Nathan Bray and Darrell Abbott.

It's easy to go on the attack when someone behaves in the ways that we dub "trolling". It's difficult to think that maybe, just maybe, we should pray for help for these people so that their behavior doesn't eventually lead to death. When we respond negatively to trolls, we are part of the problem.

Just something to think about.

That is the point I was trying to make Paul although mine didn't have an element of faith I do think that we should consider what is driving the Troll (To use online speak) to act in these destructive ways?
I am sure that what is under the surface of them is a problem that needs real attention and professional, considered care.
I have dealt with individuals who have problems and those who work with troubled people out in the real world, these troubled souls who act out there fantasy end game in the real world (I am told) these troubled souls have suffered sexual abuse when they were younger or had physically abusive relationships with their family. I believe that if this is what is at the heart of the problems these people have we as caring people owe it to the tormented to at least have an understanding or compassion for the suffering their own demons inflict on them.
We can always remove our Trolls to protect our community but I wish we had the same facilities to provide the care or medication they need? after all in reality if they had been recognised as the threat that your example was Paul, we in the civilised world have local authorities who can find and deal with them in the most appropriate and considerate way.

i think we do have the facilities but we lack the funds
since almost all governments manage to put the funds in other holes.
then you have to ask yourself which is the better option ?

I am very sad to say that yes I am ip banned. Why? Well Jon Holtz cannot fathom that either and I hold nothing against him for this. I get the impression it is out of his hands. Read into that what you will

I have spoken only well of the new venture on tk, ur and one week prior to my banning was even a featured member LOL. The site happily accepted my $10 donation one week before banning me. In short; please.... anyone else considering donating; be very wary donating of this site. if you have $10 you want to throw towards something RR related, please buy a rrcd project cd. You actually get a product in return and your money goes towards something worthwhile; the RRCD scholarship!

In a funny way I think the good that has come out of me being banned for no reason (and the site cashing my donation money only a week earlier), is that others who maybe thinking of donating can see that this is not a site to be trusted.
Oh well you live and learn lol.
I am sure Kelle Rhoads though wouldn't be too impressed to know a site with his name attached is behaving in such a way.

i got a private message about a post that came on that site when i was on the road...and its a long rambling ordeal but at the end it mentions me by name as a atttacker of poor downtrodden mr blevins.. and that my faith is in question...funny though the book that i have says nothing of letting people walk on you, crap on you, it tells you to love all men (but you dont have to like them when they are acting like idiots), and to stand up for your self face you enemy and fight and fight to win.

my books hero didnt want to have the beating put on him and the death at the cross, but he took it and he forgave but he didnt have to like it...

i dont care about you steve.. i do wish you would repent and forgive but your mental stability was and is an issue you are an unstable loose cannon just like i said 5 years ago that pissed you off hugely at me. and you have not changed. i do love all men but i dont like you period, i will and do pray for you but i do not currently like you at all. you are a cancer on the rhoads community a thief and a liar. game set match. last post with your name attatched to it

Hmmmm...sounds soooo familiar Kevin! Since RR.US has banned practically the whole state of Nevada, I was told basically the same bit of garbage.....coming from the not-to-be-trusted-EVER- Mr. Blevin's & CO. (& let this be a warning to everyone who is a member of that site) Steve IS running it almost completely, John Holtz, is nothing more than the money behind Steve, John himself said/whined, "I can't control Steve". The man is afraid of Steve & what Steve will do to him if he crosses Steve!! How's that for an up& up business partnership?? Steve hides his ugly deeds behind the guise of John Holtz. To tell you the truth, when Steve began MANIPULATING the "membership" & they sent out those e-mails saying who could or couldn't be a member, they signed the letters by someone claiming to be their media-spokesperson or some damn thing...there wasn't anyone else running the show at that time BUT Steve Blevin's & John Holtz. It's TWO guys, one is most definetly a proven snake-in-the-grass & the other is a wimp, who doesn't see or care what Steve does. It's a "good-cop-bad cop" situation over there...Steve does bad things & John plays the "good cop" & say's, "I don't know what Steve is doing". They make threats & damage people & it's all very,very, VERY bad karma. At times, I honestly thought , because of Mr. Blevin's mental issues, that the two might have been the same person!!! Other than the fact that Mr. Holtz made that ridiculous video, which made him look stupid & weird, I would have bet that it WAS Steve. What they have done at that site, is extermely disrespectful, taking "donations" for chinzy RR rings & bowties... just very tasteless & trust me, people close to Randy & his legacy, were appauled by the tactics being used over there, hence, that's when the biggest changes were AMPED UP (people being banned, reputations being trampled on, lies being told,weird -alien- video's being made & posted on YouTube & e-mails being sent out, ect...) It's a nazi-regime over there, very bad, & why??? What the hell are they so afraid of people finding out??? That they are not doing things in the "best intrests" of the Rhoads family & fans...yes! Let me tell you all something, the Rhoads family; Mrs. Rhoads, Kelle, & Kathy do not make a point to visit the web sites, they really don't people, they believe what they are told by people "reporting" to them, on occasion, such as the last live- chat that RR.US had, they felt obligated to do it for the site, believing they are dealing with some "trust-worthy" people. Dear God, they would die if they knew just the amount of pain & grief Steve himself has caused people!!! They can't be expected to read & go through every little post on all the sites & they don't! I know alot of you believe that there has been alot of bitterness between "key" figures involved in Randy's legacy, but I want to say one thing , LOOK at the evidence of the pictures, the actions & past behaviors of people- you say are not doing what's best for Randy...THAT evidence doesn't lie. The "key" people that were, have always been & still are a part of Randy & his life, HAVN'T CHANGED, they might have gotten mixed up with people who have other motives, but they got burned & they got hurt, hurt very badly. It made them stronger & they realized who is not to be trusted. Sure, we thought & gave Steve another chance (in a million chances he's been given) & he bit back, as always. He just can't change. He's responsible for using false screennames & putting up inflammatory posts, meant to hurt & abuse people, he simply cannot control himself, I imagine him sitting there laughing as he does it, who, I ask? Would ever post some of the truly hateful & hurtful things he has posted?? For pete's sake, the man posted some of the most vile messages towards the Rhoads family....(then he hoped it would all be blamed on "Romeo Rose"). There's a screw loose & he's dangerous. Unfortunetly, he, (through his association with John Holtz) has convinced the Rhoads family that they are above-board & honest & they should be the only ones that can be trusted. It's a horrible situation. Sooner or later, they will be seen for what they have done. I don't think we'll ever be rid of Steve, but karma will catch up to him. They can quote bible & preach to whomever they want, but they need a little religion too!!!!! There's just no rhyme or reason to any of it. I love UR because they run the site fairly & honestly & they remember to keep a sense of humor & yet, still be respectful. I wish that the Rhoads family could see through the fog of nonsence & understand who is trust-worthy, right now, they are caught in the web of Mr. Blevin's & it's sad. OK, I'm sorry, this was so long, but I had to get these things off my chest, it weighs on me & when I see really harmful & hurtful things happening to people I care about, I just felt a few things needed to be said. Thank you UR, Matt, Ian & everyone!! I appreciate the opportunity!

Well, I don't live my life like a schoolkid, if someone presents themselves as genuinely, changed & asks for redemption & wants another chance, it's my nature to give that to them, who am I to judge another person? I would want the same chance if I asked for it, to go through life judgemental & suspicious of everyone & everything- that would make me extemely unhappy. I can't live that way, unfortunetly, yes, you get burned every now & then, but you get stronger & wiser. The "nah-nah-nah, I told ya" approach doesn't work. I've been on earth a pretty long time now & I've never seen the advantages of acting that way towards anyone. My point, was & is, anyone who chooses to associate with RR.US is associating with Steve Blevin's. period.

I would like to also clear up a HUGE , let's see, I'll call it a "misunderstanding" even though it's a fairly large misconception, that RR.US is using. Steve Blevin's & John Holtz were NOT affiliated with the charitable organization, "Little Kid's Rock". They had NO hand in the guitar's that were donated or EVEN contacting the organazation. They were not involved in the conception, they were not involved in contacting donors..... They played absolutely 100% NO PART in the contest that was held or the decisions & contacts that were made. That was completely Kelly Garni's idea, his desire...HE made the contacts with the organization & he made it possible for the kid's to recieve their guitars. Kelly even paid all the shipping & handling out of his own pocket. Kelly wanted kid's to recieve a guitar based on their talents & he made it a personal project. Because, he remembered oh so well, how hard it was when he & Randy were just 11 & 12, & how badly they wanted guitars they couldn't afford! RR.US used the video's of the kid's recieving their guitars as another "stepping stone" for their own personal gain.
