HO HO i hear ya bro my U.S. leg revival tour starts tommorow at 7:00 am off for west va, kentucky and ohio, just added some military bases on too for some matinee shows during the daytime.....and highschools and middle school appearances...then london and then 10 cities in the ukraine!!! i am stoked...i almost dont wannna even teach today. i just wanna load up and go!!

I find it interesting that anyone found it hard to delete their membership. Go into your profile and check the options page (I think that's it) and there is a link at the top (or bottom) asking if you want to delete your account. Click it and you disappear. That's what I did a couple months back... of course I had no issues with anyone there, I just felt like leaving.

I imagine that I seem to dislike RR.Us at the moment with my last couple of statements, this is to simple as an explanation.

I want more forums with distinct approaches that set a tone that all the RR fans can be comfortable in, many flavors just like ice cream.

What has upset me is that RR.US was set up as a a site with no drama but within days they were using UR to promote the very dramas they didn't want seen at RR.US. The last time was while KG was in Japan, KG was attacked about things he has said, which is fine but to do so when somebody can't deffend themselves is weak (I said this a while ago). But it was such a clear contradiction of the principle stated in the no drama basis that RR.US is run on.
I see them having a wonderful future linked closely to the Rhoads family and producing items that the fans will purchase and enjoy and this will be a very lucrative sideline for them and hopeully they will give some of it to the family to help the teaching fund they operate.

Wthin the wonderful group of people who have found what is special about Randy none of us would wish them to fade it is vital that every site dedicated to Randy that deserves to succeed succeeds.

I am quiet forgiving and due to my love of politics I enjoy people sticking around even when others have fully understood what is beneath their antics. I relish people being on the forums who are challenge it is the debater in me who is always ready to poke his head out to exchange the pleasent and less pleasent things that can be thrown my way.
I think in time if the drama that is so hated is kept away and not promoted here and Steve keeps his head down and doesn't use RR.US for personel proffit and promotion I know he can be accepted as others of us within the community have been.

I only hope that the faith I have in multiple RR fan sites will not let me down and that like us all fan sutes will be not for proffit. RR.US looke great and I pray that they will stay on the straight and narrow and don't resort again to Romerose type video making. I am sure that most of us on the forums feel this way and I can say from experience that running a forum takes much responsibility and maturity and sometimes it is easy to make a mistake but the maturity helps when we have to learn from those very mistakes.

Great post Matt and I hope you and other members will understand me and my feelings on this subject better.

I thought this seemed the best place to say what I have to say because it is related to the subject in hand.

Some of you might have seen the mass postings that were made earlier today from a number of new accounts they were created today to post the same message, they were done in a very desperate and immature manner, lucky for all of us they were spotted and dealt with promptly.
What was added to the site was a very amateurish and poorly written set of insults that seemed to originate from the same source that attacked UR and TK many times previously, this source has tried to damage the name and reputation of Randy Rhoads as well as anybody who they perceive to have got in the way of them and their agenda.

We can only hope that this time they have learned from their childish behaviour and that they really start to operate with greater integrity.

Again I am sorry if they caused members any offence.

I saw the attacks earlier and recognised them as being not only very childish, but and also written by someone who takes all the 'tittle tattle' of the online world way too seriously- I felt they don't get enough fun out of life...
I feel for them, as there is a life to be lived beyond the screen in front of us on the computer. What a waste to live our life so pissed off we want to spend precious time creating multiple bogus accounts on a forum and posting the same post again and again. My advice is let go of the anger and examine how you can enjoy yourself more

Just think the typical archetype troll attack- a capital lettered rant full of 'shocking revelations' (well shocking to the troll, I don't give a toss about them

) and also addressing the board like it is the borg and all of one opinion (sigh). Why don't some people realise that UR is a mongrel board of completely different views. Ian is an atheist and socialist, I am conservative Christian, Ted prefers flamenco to stodgy classical, I call 80's rock affectionately as cock rock, others here love it, Craig Corleone and Shockwave do not approve of homosexuality, Flying Dutchcman thinks it is not a choice but they way they are, I am a member of RRUS and members of UR like Mike Lowery are staff there yet Ritchie thinks it sucks ass LOL etc etc etc...

In short; UR doesn't have a UR view of things. An attack on it, as if it is all one thing, is at best intellectual lazyness and someone who cannot differentiate between views and belief systems and at worst someone who is not very bright.

OK that was a little joke

I have to admit I still speak on matters like trolling with less compassion than I would about real life people with mental or social problems.
In real life I have worked in different capacities to help people with these kind of problems but faced with trolls on UR or the provocation by the person who was responsible for yesterdays unfortunate events, I still react on occasion as if the individual is faceless! Perhaps if we could see the signs of the mental anguish and deficiencies that only a face can display this wouldn't happen. That way everyone would be able to recognise that the person who does this isn't in full control of reasoned behaviour and social interaction.

Matt, yours was a very considerate response which managed to recognise and take into account everything that I failed to address. Society protects individuals with problems but the faceless web has yet to develop ways to help them, I suppose we have to keep vigilant against people such as him and perhaps that is a display of us helping him, perhaps when this is read he will understand that we not only care about his problems, but he will see that this is a considerate community giving help to him and that this itself demonstrates a better way for him to deal with life and conduct himself.
