Not to bum you guys out, but keep in mind that the video with Brad was still the DOAM tour. There was no concert filmed for SOTD, just the album.
People in my age group may believe otherwise, because after the broadcast, MTV had Paranoid, Iron & Children on very heavy rotation.
That was filmed for MTV and released Halloween '82. Obviously, Randy was supposed to be there.
I hope like hell it's the real deal, we'll just have to wait and see.

If it is LA 12/31/81 ozzy sounds really good...I have not listened to this show in along time. It does sound he is trying alot more with the little things(voice vibrato, finishing out notes and lines)

Not sure also yet since im only like 4 songs in, but he is swearing alot less which is usually a very good sign he is trying to behave himself for some reason

Sorry if im jumping the gun, but this would be the only full show from 1981 that would have been recorded

Well, this is very interesting. I really hope this is with Randy. I know everybody's reasoning that it is, but I'll allow myself to go insane when it is truly confimed..say, in June or July sometime when people receive this DVD and give it a watch.

understandable...but Ozzy saying he has a pro shot show, all these other rumblings going on...No way he would release a brad gillis show, that would be the ultimate insult to Randy Rhoads and his family and fans

besides no one wants to see gillis anyway

If you were asking me, I'm saying the concert video with Brad was the Diary setlist.
The concert audio with Brad was the Sabbath setlist.
Does anyone know anything about the distributor?
Amazon has them listed as: 'Gonzo Distribution L' (I'm guessing LLC?)
I'm guessing they aren't UK or US, because I don't think this is the DVD Ozzy is putting out.

I was asking shockwave but thanks for the reply. I have a pro shot video of Brad playingb the Diary show but it's called Speak of the Devil. So I'm excited but very skeptical about the whole thing. I just don't want to get my hopes up then be disappointed AGAIN!
