I was wondering if you could fill me in a bit on the situation with the brothers' footage. What happened there? It seems that PM was told about it, but he never got in touch. I'm assuming that they were hoping to get their film released at last but nobody bothered to contact them?

When they got all the slag and name calling shit talk from the forums about them pretty much turned them off, bout all I will say."
Thanks for the post. Yeah, I get it's a fairly sensitive matter. They have something very special. A pity they got treated roughly. That is beyond tragic.

What is beyond tragic is that there are fans out there hording stuff like that to themselves when they know footage is ultra-rare at best, and how big of a boost it would give to Randy's legacy.
I'm wondering about the first gig of the US 'Diary' tour. San Francisco, December 30, 1981. MTV were in SF to film Randy getting the Best New Talent Award, and they filmed him standing on the castle steps.

Honestly to me it was like you take a coloful photo and imaine it start moving. Maybe someday they can work somthing out with Sharon but you know her how she is. You would be lucky to have your clothes left. That's all I am going to say.
it was two cams right? Did they edit it down into one show( probably hard with no audio) or are there actually two seperate films of the full show
